Business Development Manager Service DACH & EMEA

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a background in IT and Sales, equipped with experience within our industry and fluent in German & English, to join our Service team in either Stuttgart, Germany or home-office based.

This role comes from an investment in business development as a key driver of growth for one of Kodak Alaris’ fastest growing business units. The successful candidate will be developing additional service business in key IT industries, as well as strengthening our position in DACH, and other key markets by adding a resource to support the new Kodak Alaris strategies, e.g. Managed Content Services (MCS) and Professional Services (PS).

Key responsibilities:

EMEA Business Development in MPS market, and Adjacent markets

  • Identify and develop relationships to IT companies which have a need for service delivery in EMEA (one or more countries), e.g., multi-vendor and adjacent industries
  • Present Kodak Alaris service offering to these identified companies
  • Negotiate and finalise service contracts (with the support of the EMEA team)
  • Develop net new business with multi-national companies
  • Participate to trade shows and other forums to connect to decision makers
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of hitting quarterly and annual targets
  • High level of interface with Kodak Alaris organization (Service contract team, FE, strategic accounts, sales & marketing, inside sales, PS-team)
  • Support the MCS strategy in selected countries, connect with the global accounts team where suitable

Central Cluster Service Sales

  • Support the central cluster sales team in selling services
  • Business development in named accounts
  • Drive attach rate
  • Use and develop C-level contacts
  • Develop and sell customized service offerings
  • Increase service business with BPOs
  • Identify additional Professional Service opportunities

Key requirements:

  • IT-Background
  • Hunting /sales mentality
  • > 10 years’ experience in sales, ideally in service business
  • Fluent in English and German (one ideally native)
  • University degree in business administration or computer science or combination
  • C-level contacts
  • Well-connected in the IT industry / C-level contacts
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Flexible in travelling (approx. 3 days a week)
  • Driving licence
  • Home office based or Stuttgart (Germany)
